PHP/XML Web developer for a leading production company.The right candidate will have strong PHP/SQL/XML skills with a knowledge of JavaScript for the front end. The site will be driven by XML data which will initially be created manually (for all existing content) and thereafter generated dynamically by an SQL database and content management system (CMS). Site content must be viewed, added, removed or modified through the CMS. The CMS will also enable the upload of video in various file types, to be determined. Initial spec includes: Database file system for all content Dynamic search facility across Programs Database driven and content managed Front End Database driven and content managed Back End Online, secure, searchable contacts database to enable easy emailing of specific registered users Tasks will include: Defining and designing PHP pages and processes and database schema HTML/JavaScript coding. Creation of HTML/JavaScript Front End for content management Development of SQL Scripts. Database setup and testing. Development of PHP pages. Input XML files into database / content management Extracting text from existing site and formatting within XML. Extracting / Inputting all meta data, image filenames, video file names Testing / Debugging.
